Let’s talk about Hugging Face incident. Unfortunately media shaping it like it was something extra ordinary, maybe even sentient. Whole thing is being framed like AI is doing something on its own. I think all of that to reject liability for questionable activity, today if you write malicious code and put it on a computer to run against internet you will get penalized and with this incident it’s presented like people who did that(AI agent is just a software) shouldn’t be liable. Thoughts?

One more privacy tip for iPhone. There are some defaults in Search settings that are questionable from privacy standpoint and need to be turned off. Go to Settings -> Search and turn off Show Related Content and Help Apple Improve Search settings, otherwise your searches will be exposed for Apple and their partners. #iphoneprivacy #PunkPrivacy

Privacy and security on computing devices need to become far stronger to protect people from pervasive violations of their rights. Users have their privacy pervasively violated by corporations, criminals and governments. There are endless privacy and security weaknesses in software with exploits of those happening on a large scale. Operating systems, browsers and other apps need to do a much better job protecting users. Enormous progress is needed on both privacy and security.
