Parler Tricks: Making Software Disappear
"Regardless of how you feel about Parler, an important thing to note is that this is far from the first time, nor will it be the last time, that Google and Apple remove controversial software from their stores. "

Quite expected, after big tech stopped being neutral service provider and started to censor, or decide which products are allowed in their stores and which are not. Now what? Are they going to take all communication products including their own off of their stores as it can be used to relay questionable information ... https://appleinsider.com/articles/21/01/18/apple-sued-for-not-removing-telegram-from-app-store-over-violent-content

Today we are all still enraged at what has happened in the Capitol, but aftermath is much more important for a long run. Google, Apple, Facebook and Twitter were quick to censor what they think inappropriate, and they won't stop there, Germany looking to dust off or as they say revisit online hate speech law in the wake of those events ... Be careful of what you wished for ... https://greenwald.substack.com/p/violence-in-the-capitol-dangers-in-67f #freespeech
Be careful of what you wished for, while what has happened at the Capitol is a disaster for our nation, legislative limitations and technical controls on speech is a bad idea. It might look clear from Germans perspective, but then look at Honkong or Belarus, from their government's perspective what protestors say is a hate speech, so it's no longer clear cut. https://m.dw.com/en/capitol-hill-riots-prompt-germany-to-revisit-online-hate-speech-law/a-56171516
I think Tesla today is somewhat similar to Apple few years after they released their phone. Just like iPhone has become just a smartphone in an ocean of primarily Android smartphones with similar functionality, Tesla car is just another car in an ocean of cars. Just like iPhone, Tesla lost it's uniqueness. Now big question will Musk be able to innovate, releasing a truck is not an innovation.

This is just pure censorship, neither Twitter nor Facebook had any "rights" to disable account of the US President. Though on the other hand they are private corporations, as such you can never be free on their platforms, they just milking you for profit, that's why you reading this post as a picture from s platform where I can freely express my opinion. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/jan/06/facebook-twitter-youtube-trump-video-supporters-capitol

Surveillance capitalism at it's core, government should stop trying to regulate tech giants and start protecting people's privacy by requiring explicit consent for each transaction where personal information changes hands. https://gizmodo.com/your-credit-score-should-be-based-on-your-web-history-1845912592
